Time is just ticking away over here. And I hear the seconds in every moment of silence spent with Anna. Tick, tick, tick. I don't know how she handles that watch.
School has started, and as is typical to school, suddenly weeks are much shorter than they used to be. I love my classes though, so I don't mind so much. I love them all! So happy. I really feel like I'm going to leave my classes with immediate satisfaction. Actually I already seem to each class.
Marketing is so great, I feel like every second in that class I learn something new. Business is a completely different way of thinking than any I've ever been exposed to.
Creative Writing gets a bit dry in class still, and I have no good ideas for what to write about yet, but the handouts are good. I've already learnt lots about structuring stories, and characterization, and so on... And he's also letting us write at our own pace. Nothing is due until the end... which could be destructive.. but I think it will give me time to really take the course seriously. Hopefully.
Linguistics and Cultural Theory aren't dry at all, Thank God! I think they are going to be very eye-opening as well! Not much to say about them though, as they were both cancelled last week. (geez, what did I do last week?)
However, I'm not very excited about my German class. I don't think it'll be as fun as the last class. The teaching style is more formal, and the class focus is on grammar. I much prefer learning German on the weekends, and my German always seems to be much better as well! Maybe I should start bringing a bottle or two for that class...
Have I talked about soccer yet?? Even if I have it's worth a second mention, cause I'm so STOKED on it! Feels so good to finally kick a ball around after about a two year injury/recovery ordeal. It's indoor right now but should be outdoor soon I think. It's sunny as hell here again, so soon the fields will be ready! Also Anna, my best friend next door, somehow happens to have chosen the same soccer course as me. I don't know how these things happen, we are like, Austrian soulmates or something. I'm almost surprised we aren't in all the same classes.
Other than that there's not much to tell. I've been cooking lots for my friends, and at night Anna and I usually watch Freaks and Geeks or How I Met Your Mother. Or we will watch a movie or some funny Youtubes with Juan and Nikita. On the weekends I usually go out tanzen. I haven't been doing much on weekends though, because soccer practice is Thursday......... so I'm usually sore throughout the weekend, hahaha.
Easter break is basically three weeks away, which is freaking me out. Classes just started and it's already getting to be late for me to be booking my flights and whatnot!! I gotta get on skype and plan out my trip with Coleson. We are thinking of seeing Eastern Europe, then I'll go back to France with Cols for the last week. I feel like after Easter break the classes will be wrapping up, and then I'll be done and then I'll be home!! Is there really no time left?! I'm stressin.
I know I promised to write of Vienna but the Koreans and I are planning on going to Innsbruck this weekend so I was thinking maybe I'd wait and post about them both together. So sorry to keep you guys waiting!
OHH, and about pictures... I got LIGHTROOM!! Which means I can edit my photos super YAY, and I can shoot in RAW format!! BOOOYAAAAA.......... Which doesn't really have anything to do with why I haven't posted any photos for you guys though... I'm sorry. Maybe I'll do that tonight.
Wishing my Buds Jo a happy happy birthday today! Sending lots of love your way, and I even ate cake today! And Anna made pumpkin/corn soup, which kind of reminded me of you, cause I think you would have loved it. <3333 Miss you tons!
Love from Nikki
